The Purrfect Solution for Multiple-Cat Households
The last thing you want to have in your multiple-cat home is feline rivalry due to not having enough space or scratching surfaces available. The Command Center gathers all the benefits of the other Purrfect Post products in a multiple-cat friendly package that includes:
- Three comfy, cozy spots for snoozing or viewing in one Purrfect combination.
- Three commanding levels for that "I'm the master of all I survey" behavior that cats love to engage in.
- One level is a little higher for the feline that wants to be Top Cat (even if it's only for the moment). The other two are equally inviting so that two cats can enjoy them harmoniously.
- Posts are covered in sisal, the perfect cat-scratching material that is tough, rough, and satisfying.
- Wood trim that comes in light or dark stains, for an attractive appearance.
- Double-thick base to ensure maximum stability.
- The perfect height for window-gazing but also for allowing a cat to stand at the base and stretch out completely while scratching, working all of the muscles in the back and shoulders.
- Made in the USA for the best quality possible.
Dr. Christianne Schelling developed the Command Center because she has multiple cats herself.

“ I know the special needs of a multiple cat household. Keeping all of them happy and healthy deters unwanted behaviors. If one or more of them gets stressed or doesn't have access to resources, including scratching surfaces, they start to cause trouble. The Command Center includes all of the cat- and human-friendly design aspects of my other Purrfect Post products: sisal fabric, height, sturdiness, and attractiveness. Multiple cat scratching surfaces equals multiple happy cats. I want to keep my household harmonious, so I developed the Command Center. After all, it's my cats that run the place anyway. ”

Customer Experiences

We bought the mondo deluxe and are so happy we did. The bed on top is EVERYTHING. Until now, we’ve just had a standard post that had a 4” top that our cats would sit upright on. This elevated bed has allowed them to remain up high but in a WAY more comfortable position. I had considered the Purrfect View that has the additional side perch and post but am glad I stuck with the simplicity of this setup. I will say that my cats are jumping from the ground directly into the bed, so maybe the purrfect view would be good for smaller cats who have trouble reaching the top of the 41” bed? But who am I kidding - we know cats…they’ll get what they want when they want it. One of our cats, Harry (orange and white in pics) is the biggest portliest cat we’ve ever known. He’s pushing 22 pounds and as you can see from the pic, easily almost reaches the top of the bed to take the muffin blanket when he stands up …. which is 41” tall. I would swear he’s 50 feet long, but no matter his length (he tries to eat my measuring tape when I try to measure) he seems VERY comfortable in the 17” bed and the post holds up well to his beastly girth jumping and landing on top. Can’t recommend this post enough.
